<aside> We sincerely thank everyone for your interest and support for WATERBOMB 2024 LOS ANGELES. Over the past few days, we have carefully listened to the community's feedback and have taken time for deep reflection. We sincerely apologize for not being better prepared to provide LA fans with the best possible experience. We've addressed the issues raised and have provided answers to your questions in the Q&A below.

Q: Why are the ticket prices so high?

A: Unlike WATERBOMB SEOUL, where additional costs such as flights, accommodation, security, and transportation for more than 200 people including artists and staff are not required, hosting WATERBOMB in LA incurs significant expenses in these areas. The extended stay due to long-distance travel has also increased artist fees, and the cost of obtaining performance visas for artists and staff in the U.S. is significantly higher compared to other countries. Additionally, local production and operation costs in LA are much higher. Initially, we set ticket prices to cover these costs and ensure a reasonable profit. However, we recognize that this has become a burden for our fans. Therefore, we have decided to adjust the prices, prioritizing the event over profit, in order to reduce the burden on our customers. We hope this will allow more fans to enjoy the festival with their favorite artists. We will refund the difference to those who have already purchased tickets. The new ticket price information will be announced shortly. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.

Q: Why did ticket sales start only a month before the event? Why not earlier?

A: The decision to hold WATERBOMB LA was made in April this year. After thorough research and negotiations, we secured the venue in late May and confirmed the lineup of artists and DJs. In previous events in LA, there were cases where artists had to cancel performances due to a lack of performance visas after the lineup was announced. To avoid this issue, we decided to announce the lineup only after securing performance visas for the artists. This was done to ensure you could purchase tickets with confidence. We apologize for the delay in timing. Currently, all announced artists for WATERBOMB LA have received performance visas, and the remaining DJs are in the process of securing theirs. We will make announcements as soon as they are finalized.

Q: Why are there seats at the WATERBOMB festival?

A: After extensive discussions with various venues, the current location and dates were the only viable options. While the venue is great for enjoying the performance, fire regulations limit the field capacity to 10,000 people. To meet the expectations of many fans eager to enjoy WATERBOMB LA and to cover production costs, we had to introduce designated seating. However, once inside Dignity Health Sports Park, both seated and standing ticket holders can enjoy unique WATERBOMB activities, such as water challenges, photo ops, K-beauty experience zones, delicious food stations at the Plaza only steps away directly connected to the field. You may encounter meeting some of your favorite artists at the Plaza.

Q: Why were comments deleted and users blocked on social media?

A: As the preparation timeline fell behind and ticket prices became a point of concern, negative feedback began to accumulate. In the process of responding to these concerns, negative comments also appeared on unrelated artist announcement posts, raising concerns about potential harm to those artists. Regardless of the content of the deleted comments, we acknowledge our responsibility and apologize for the inappropriate deletion of comments and blocking of users. We will handle such matters more carefully in the future and actively consider your feedback.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has shown interest and support since our first post on April 18 announcing ‘WATERBOMB 2024 LOS ANGELES coming soon.’ We sincerely apologize for any disappointment caused by our shortcomings. We will do our utmost to ensure that the first WATERBOMB LA event is an enjoyable experience for all, with the best artists and fans coming together. We ask for your continued support and understanding.
